RS2 Software, the leader in omnichannel payments processing, today announced the appointment of Bjorn Ovick as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for North America. Ovick will lead and drive commercial strategy as RS2 Software works to power global commerce initiatives and give more flexibility to developers to build and own their own payments ecosystem.
RS2 Software’s single, global platform allows its partners to have complete ownership of the merchant relationship and evolve with changing payments trends, such as cryptocurrencies.

Ovick brings more than two decades of experience to RS2 Software, including serving as Head of Merchant Solutions for Samsung. Prior, he worked in senior management positions at Visa and American Express’ Serve pre-paid platform. Ovick also served at PayPal as an independent consultant, was previously the VP of business development and channel management for Wells Fargo Merchant Services, and has startup experience.

Over the last five years, Ovick has also secured more than a dozen patents on processing and securing transactions, payment account identifiers, and communication protocols for authorization.
